Our Chocolate Story
We are retired Air Force and after so many years of travel we wanted to settle in a community in Georgia. So in 2006 we opened and operated a small gift shop in Warm Springs, Georgia called Fern Valley Cottage. We were a mom and pop shop and had special gift items.
But, we were off the beaten path so to entice customers into our shop, we thought about large yard ornaments, lights and candy or other foods, but we did realize that there are few foods that people feel as passionate about as chocolate -- a passion that goes beyond a love for the "sweetness" of most candies or desserts: after all, few people crave caramel, whipped cream, or bubble gum. Chocolate is, well, different.

For the true chocoholic, just thinking about chocolate can evoke a pleasurable response. We wanted to be different and unique from other chocolatier's, so 3 old family recipes and 6 months later we had our product. We named our company Chocolate Jelly FarmsTM.
A Simple and Delicious Dark Chocolate Process
Our process is simple after I make my dark chocolate I add puree fruit or what ever I am going to add, this gives each of our flavors a unique soft silky taste.
As our small company began to grow our customers suggested some very inventive ways to enjoy our chocolate; Biscuits & butter, toast and peanut butter, croissant, bagel, waffles, pancakes in your coffee or milk and much more. I have a British friend who eats it on celery.
Because the chocolate took on a life of its own and we have to travel, we had to close Fern Valley Cottage in Warms Springs, GA. But try to visit Warm Springs, the Roosevelt museum is amazing and all the little shops. Take a week-end and step back in time with so much history you will be amazed.
